Just wanted to add.... I too remember the swimming pool and bathhouse. That’s where I learned to swim. The Piccadilly was another cinema located on Stratford Rd, just a few streets from the Waldorf. I attended church and Sunday school at Christ Church across the street from Farm Rd Park.
