Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Can anyone remember the Millers pies & pastries depot in sevenoaks? I was there for short time around this era. Is it still there ?

'smoke Gets In Your Eyes'
I went here on holiday with my mum and dad and my cousin in about 1953. This was the hall where all the events were held and I remember my mum going in for a fancy dress competition and parading around the hall with the other competitors. She had an ashtray tied on her head with some of my hair ribbon and smoked a cigarette on the way round. She went as the song 'Smoke gets in your eyes'. I can't remember ...see more

Pinky & Perky
It must have been around c 1966-8 that pinky and perky pigs lives in the convent. Many happy meories playing in the grounds on open days. julian Ingram

Sevenoaks High Street
One of my Corke/Moon ancestors had a butchers shop in the ex Midland Bank building where the water fountain stands at the intersection. Another ancestor Elizabeth Corke had a dairy in the High Street and I believe other members of the Corke family had shops in the High Street.I recall my grandmother telling me they had a cattle market in the High Street and she had to drive home a cow that her father purchased.

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
