More about this scene

At the end of Main Street is the entrance to Sewerby Hall, now a fine museum officially opened in June 1936 by the Hull-born aviator Amy Johnson (1903-41). The Georgian house with its 50 acres of grounds was built between 1714 and 1720 for the Lloyd-Greame family; it was sold to Bridlington Corporation in 1934.
