A Selection of Memories from Shepperton

For many years now, we've been inviting visitors to our website to add their own memories to share their experiences of life as it was, prompted by the photographs in our archive. Here are some from Shepperton

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

I worked at Shepperton Electrics just across the road from the Bull in around 1968/9. Used to lunch at Bull and had a girlfriend at the time, Anne Sink, from Acacia Avenue. Shepperton Electrics opened a 2nd store in the High Street and I moved on to work in London. Good days and memories.
Hi, I don't remember the name of the house that was there before Budgens, but I do know that it was a kindergarten as I attended it in the late 40's. I do remember that the entrance was a five-bar gate. Chris
Can anyone tell me the name of the house that was there before Budgens was put there.
Does anyone remember the old house that was by the big tree? When I was at St Nicks it was already derelict and we used to dare each other to go inside....it wouldn't be allowed now as a health & safety concern!!
