My mother, father and I moved into an old Victorian public house in Shipley. Life was different living in a pub and travelling miles to school in Bradford.

I recently came home for the first time in over 55 years and still found my waynot badly changed.Went to Otley Rd school then on to Shipley Church schhol and eventually to Bingley Grammar .Mr Robinson was Headmaster and Miss curry the teacher who taught my particular class.We lived in Field Street which is now gone and have many fine memories
