Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Shipston-on-Stour is situated ten miles south-east of Stratford, and was once a centre for sheep and wool for the Vale of the Red Horse. Farmers and merchants came from miles around to do their business here, and there were enough of them to support several inns.

returned to Shipston on Stour only last week found Gerralds close house still standing and lived in . however the farm house still there and the land was turned into housing estate . brought some memories back .

Rose Cottage Blackwell
My parents lived at rose cottage in Blackwell in 1954/5 would anyone know if this property still exists today ? As I am researching my family history.my parents names were tom and myrtle Davies and I think the cottage was owned by a Mr and Mrs parsons .any info much appreciated. Mrs sue gasiorek Mrs

Village Life
family of Ingate moved here in we lived in Gerrald close only remembering there stood once a trough on piece of land this I believe was here before roundabout put in? there used to be large farm nearby my sister and myself used to have friends there. I presume the farm was made way for housing estate. can anyone who knew the farm and family where did they go?

Researching My Dad
Hi, I'm trying to trace my dad's family history. He lived in Shipston on Stour and his mother was Patricia Lygo (nee Wheatcroft) and his father Charles Lygo. My dad's name was Richard Andrew Lygo born 1961. He had four brothers; Nicholas, Jonathan, Patrick, Christopher and a sister called Melanie. If anyone has any information, please could you share it. Thank you.

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
