Shootash
A Memory of Shootash.
Does anyone remember the Mowatt Family who used to live at Longdown, Salisbury Road, Shootash. I recall that Mr.Mowatt owned the fish market in Southampton. The daughter was called Peggy and she went on to marry Neville Dent, a race horse trainer. My grandfather, Ted Fislder, was the gardener at Longdown for the family.
