Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

I have a relative who lived in Snaith from the early 1900's. His name was William Sandoe who was the Headmaster at the school. His granddaughter was also a teacher there. He had a son Cyril who came to Australia as a teenager, part of a scout troup who were going to work on farms in South Australia. He joined the Australian army and fought in the 1st world war. My paternal line goes back to (definitely) Joseph Wood b. 1751 at Cowick near Snaith but there have been Wood's in Cowick back to the 16th century. Joseph married Hannah Mapplebeck of Heck at Snaith in 1782.
