A Memory of Snodland.
Born at 9 East st then moved to no 28 in the mid 50s there was not a lot of money then but a lot of love and it was safe . I went to Brook st school Mrs Ashby and Mr Townsend then for a short while went to Homesdale the teacher's mr Cow miss Boyde and mr Oldem ( farm ) to name just a few but one boy Gordon Randell ( thank you for teaching me to read ) . The Bull pub Arther and Nora as well as Gobals bakers and Audrey's salon and how about Ham Hill garage ( ash autos ) all found memories but I know they are not alive now but Jean and George mobally as well as Audrey and Bob McHattie along with Snodland thank you for shaping my life . I now live In Thailand but think of snodland as home and my saying ( YOU CAN TAKE THE BOY OUT OF SNODLAND BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE SNODLAND OUT OF THE BOY )

Thank you for your kind words and your Nana was special to me , yes I have a photo of you. In your Nanas arms with your mother Gill you were a baby , who am I well ask your mother or Harry , I wonder if your mother remembers that I made your Nana cry at my wedding a bunch of flowers was given to her well they were for George's head stone .
You see I did not go to his funeral but it took 16 years for me to tell my fellings to the world, and my name Frankie MacDonald so many stories I have , be kind my friend xx
