More about this scene
In the 16th century St Fagan's Castle was rebuilt as a Tudor mansion. There was an earlier castle on the site, but little is known about it save for traces of what might be a 13th-century curtain wall. Set in 98 acres of parkland, St Fagan's was donated for use as a National Museum by the Earl of Plymouth and now houses the Welsh National Folk Museum.
