Cedar House School

I was a boarder from 1953 to 1959..remember Fitzy.. and Mrs Jackson the house keeper..and Gladys in the kitchen..and walking to church in a crocodile.. and midnight feasts!!

Fiona I think we were in the same form- I was a Robinson . Other class mates Stephanie Sullivan, Jane McClure,Jennifer Creek(day girl) Margaret Gimbert,Jane Gilbert, Susan Hayes,Elizabeth Foulds,etc. One of my dormitories was the big one on the first floor ,served by the beautiful staircase,, next door to Mrs Hutton’s bedroom. We were dared to go into her bedroom,take a hat from its hat box in her room and run up and down the stairs wearing it. Have lots more memories .
