I remember as a child and teenager going to the Brine Baths with my brother and friends, what a wonderful building it was, swimming was never the same after the new baths were built, another fine old building was lost.

Elizabeth, I remember the Royal Brine Baths but only went in once and didn't learn to swim 'till I was 30+. Whoever decided to destroy the Baths should have seriously reconsidered it was a grand old building. "They" almost got to destroying the Ancient High House but fortunately it survived. Regards, Mike
