More about this scene
The Nag's Head public house was one of many around Stafford controlled by Joule's Brewery of Stone, established in the 18th century and closed in 1972. It had a distinctive sign of a red cross on a green background. Note Falaise, a dress shop, and the sign for ice cream at the end of the cobbled pavement.
