Stamford, All Saints' Church, Interior 1922

More about this scene
The rebuilding of All Saints' church in the 15th century was largely funded by the Brownes, a family of wealthy wool merchants. Some of the family memorial brasses can be seen attached to the wall on the left. The interior today is virtually unchanged, except that the boards listing the Ten Commandments have been removed from either side of the chancel arch and a new carpet has been fitted.
