Hi there
Does anyone remember the grocer shop in King Street, Connie Kettle's, also the old pit just behind and to the left of the shop, and the old cottages where if you walked past these you would come out near the top of Church Hill? The pit was a dumping ground for all sorts of things but can anybody tell me what the pit was used for in the first place please?
