A Memory of Stowmarket.

The doors next to the Gladstone arms was the blacksmiths shop this is were i had to leave my bike when i went to combs ford school 1947 to 1953.Mr Stamers was the blacksmith he lived next door.

In the late 50's-early 60's, the blacksmith's shop became the panel-beating workshop for Pike's Garage. The man who ran it was Percy Wade (of Ipswich). Can anyone remember the name of the landlord of the Gladstone at that time?
