More about this scene
Looking North The Swindon and North Wilts Technical Institute building (now known as the College) is on the left. This was built in 1896 at a cost of £10,000 on land presented by W V Rolleston. At the bottom of the hill is the domed building of the Central Hall (originally built as the Wesleyan Central Mission Hall in 1907); how sad that it was demolished in 1985 to make way for an office block, Kingsbridge Point.
