Canadian Red Cross Memorial Hospital
A Memory of Taplow.
I was a student at this hospital and I had the most amazing introduction to nursing as well as to the country referred to as England in my home country Ceylon ( now called SRI LANKA) All those named above played a major role in my nursing career. I was fortunate to have 5 other very close friends whom I befriended while training. Two sisters from Ceylon - Tushita and Shiranee Warnakulasuriya, Gulshan Rajan from Tanzania and two other girls from Malaysia- Salma Abu Bakar and Josuan Ong. I have met two of the above named as they were from my homeland and our friendship has thrived in the intervening years. I have not been very successful in locating the two who were from Malaysia. It is quite ironic that I am now living in KL Malaysia. My name when I was at the CRXMH was Ayesha Miskin. If there is anyone who remembers the class of summer 1966 I would love to hear from you. My email is jimayesha@mac.com
