Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Although I did not live at 10-Mile Bank, my mother told me much about her life there. She lived right by the large bridge over the River Great Ouse with her Mother, Lilian, Dad, Harry, and brothers and sisters. My grandfather, Frank Green, lived next door to Stevens shop in Ten Mile and was the local baker working from Hilgay High Street, with his family. He supplied most of the surrounding fens and West Derham etc.. with bread and grannery products. My parents, Kath and Len Dearsley moved to Coventry during the war, but when I was young they used to take my brother and I to Ten Mile for the school ...see more
