More about this scene
Tong gets its name from an old Anglo-Saxon word for fork: here it comes from the shape of two streams coming together to form one. Tong's church, St Bartholomew's, is particularly beautiful, and is known as the Westminster of the Midlands. It has a superb fan-vaulted ceiling.
