Hazelhurst Road Bombing 19 Nov 1944

A Memory of Tooting.

Does anyone have any memories or photos of the V2 bombing which killed 33 people in Hazelhurst Rd Tooting on the morning of 19th November 1944? We are planning a memorial service at St Mary's Church Summerstown on Sunday 16th Nov 2014 as a tribute to all those who died and plan to put together some sort of archive. There seems to be no memorial nor any plaque to show the tragedy that happened there 70 years ago this year. I believe it was the largest number of casualties in Wandsworth as a result of one bombing. Thank you, Lynda
