My Memorys Of Tooting
A Memory of Tooting.
I was born at St James's hospital in 1952 and lived in Derington Road Tooting, early 1960 moved to Barringer Square Tooting Bec. Attended Franciscan junior school then Hillcroft school Tooting Bec. Then worked as an apprentice electrician with a company call DAW installations in Croydon. Alway remember as a kid in November in the underground (tube) doing, penny for the Guy and spending the money on fireworks, Tooting markets,and playing football on the common. In 1971 emigrated to Australia.

Anybody remember times spent at that school with the headteacher mr Owen the woodwork teacher mr fyfield and mr foot the metalwork teacher with a dodgy foot
