This was one of the routes I took when riding my beautiful horse out. We would go up West Balgrochan Road, turn in to Acre Valley Road and go up the hill where the woods are and down to the other side, sometimes going on the narrow bridle path past Ferrymill. It was a lovely scenic ride!
This is where my mum was born, 76 years ago.
