More about this scene
The bandstand in Bedwellty Park was presented to the town by the Tredegar Athletic Club. The elegant roof on the bandstand has now been replaced by a plainer triangular one. The gardens here are in the ornamental Chinese style. The ladies` shelter in the park was well known to courting couples, but unfortunately this building became so vandalised that it has now been demolished.
