The chain ferry offers travellers a fast yet picturesque crossing from Truro into Roseland. At Trelissick is a sumptuously built mansion in the Grecian style, conceived and created by P F Robinson in 1824. Its gardens are renowned for their spectacular displays of azaleas, rhododendrons and subtropical trees.
