Trowbridge, The Parade 1923

More about this scene
Parking was not a problem in 1923. Notice the pitched paving in front of Parade House (left), where stones are embedded between 6in and 18in deep, a method used in the county. The ornate corner building (centre) is in fact an Edwardian sham, a façade to hide Ushers brewery behind.
