A Memory of Uckfield.

I was a boarder at St Michaels Convent, Uckfield from 1954-1961 and would be interested to hear from anyone who was there at that time; particularly Jennifer Holmes, as she then was. She was my best friend.

I was at the school in 1962 3 and i remember all the nuns. I had a friend Susan horsnell. I was unhappy there but the nuns were nice but i didn't like all the religion. While I was there bbc broadcast a songs of praise in the convent and we all had to sing. Cant find any record of it though. I have a couple of pictures of the convent and a letter from sister anastasia.
