Born In Upper Boat 1943
A Memory of Upper Boat.
Ken Beard speaking. My parents were evacuated to South Wales from Bermondsey London during the 2nd. war. I wish I had some dates, as there is no one alive to ask. We lived at 63 Crwys Crescent where I was born in 1943.I'm not shore how many years we lived there before we moved back to London, another date I wish I had.
I was travelling in the area about two weeks ago and thought I would see if any of my birthplace existed. All I could find was a public house called Upper Boat by the side off a industrial site that Tom Tom was telling me was Upper Boat. Sad to find.

I am looking for any information and pictures about the time I lived there.
I also remember Uncle Jack and used to visit him at his house which has been said by someone else on this site had no electricity. He was a great and interesting man.
Look forward to hearing from anybody who lived at Crwys Crescent around the time I lived there.
Regards Tony
