Upper Slaughter, The Square c.1960

More about this scene
Upper Slaughter's tiny church has been 'restored' on several occasions, not always sympathetically. But it does retain a number of interesting Norman features and a rare 14th century Sanctus Bellcot, which have managed to survive the worst excesses of the Victorian restorers.
