More about this scene
A measure is being used to decide which of the bowls lies nearest to the jack. Castle Priory, which was built for Judge William Blackstone, Recorder of Wallingford, in the mid 18th century, has again reverted to being a private house. There is a bowling green at the Town's large sports park.
