Memories
A Memory of Wallyford.
My Father was born in Wallyford in 1925 and his Mother and Father lived in St. Clements Cresent until the late 60's. We used to go there by train from King's Cross in the summer holidays. There was no train (except the Pug!) at Wallyford so we went to Edinburgh Waverly. I remember the Co-op (my grandma called it the Store), the Fa'Side Inn and the chippy. There was a bakers round from where they lived and my Father got fresh rolls from there every morning.
My Father went to Crookston School and I was wondering if anyone had any photos of it before it burnt down. Also, if any one remembers the family, there surname was Nisbett.
