166 Easthill Memories.

A Memory of Wandsworth.

born in 62, lived at 166 easthill, went to st faiths primary school from 67 to 73, used to sit on the wall watching the scrap lorry reverse all thw way up the side of our wall and gover cricket school entrance and park up to the garages in the corner, also just about able to watch the cricketers practicing, we lived in that house with our nan n grandad and aunt n uncle and their children, remember Ted n Ellen, Ted delivered our milk while Ellen was in the store, shopping was done at the arndale, dad used to work for howdens then on to north thames gas board, mum worked as a seamstress for Warewell mills also next door to Govers.My cousins and I use to play a lot down Fairfield flats, usually hide n seek. went to King Georges Park a lot during my early teens playing football and playing tag around the bandstand with my cousins and brother. my parent and us kids(4 of us kids) moved to tooting in 1981 ish and I moved out of london in 1984 but I will never forget the great times in wandsworth.
