This view was taken looking over the River Frome towards the 15th-century tower and 1841-rebuilt nave of Lady St Mary parish church (centre top). The Priory (centre middle), a cell of Lire abbey in Normandy, dates from the early 12th century, with present buildings from the early 16th century.
