More about this scene
The large building in the centre was erected in 1879 on the site of an earlier small shop. Known as Warnham Stores, it operated until 1948, selling groceries, china, drapery, furniture, and products from its own bakery at the rear. To the right is an old house, formerly occupied by the village boot and shoe repairer.
