Watchfield C18th And C19th

A Memory of Watchfield.

Hi, there's a fastastic online "Watchfield Chronicle" with a detailed history of the village. My own interest is family history. My ancestors were there 1760s - 1860s, but my interest is wider as this gives context. Do get in touch if you are building a picture of Watchfield life.

Hello Steven. As per the email I just sent you directly, I'm 95% sure that the "9 Henry Geering" referenced on this old, gorgeous map of Watchfield is an ancestor of mine: http://www.shrivenhamheritagesociety.co.uk/downloads/cashmap.jpg. Would love to compare notes! Thanks, Ross
