More about this scene

The inn was built in 1927 using traditional materials, especially local flint; its design makes it look much older then it really is. Before this date, and even in medieval times, the village had at least two ale houses. The inn has beautiful gardens, and a putting green. It is also the base where local cricket, darts and football teams meet. Being on the junction of the coast and beach road, it provides a convenient watering-hole for tourists.

Great Place To Live!
I lived in this house in the late 50s early 60s as my grandfather Harry Worman owned it. It was brilliant and as a youngster I thought that the forest belonged to me. I had a pony, a dog, a rope, a penknife and bicycle. What more could any kid want.

An Old Flame
My first love was Susan Sainty who, at this time, lived in London Road, Kings Lynn with sister Alison, and mum and dad. Her gran lived in Cley and the family probably had the chalet bungalow in West Runton at the time. We met at Kings Lynn tech in about 1963 /1964 and I was heartbroken when we parted in about 1965. The Bishop Family Of Rosebury Re Rose

However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
