Weston Super Mare, A Peep Through The Trees c.1950

More about this scene
A picturesque scene, showing the Grand Pier and Knightstone framed by trees in Weston Woods. The pavilion on the Grand Pier was opened in 1933, and replaced the one shown in the previous pictures, which was destroyed by fire in 1930. Instead of a theatre, this pavilion housed amusement machines and a fun fair.
