I lived in Bideford from 1944 till 1947 when we moved back to London, but I spent every Easter and summer holiday back in Bideford and nearly every day at the beach in Westood Ho!. Such happy times spent there.

my name is Rod,1955 I met a girl and fell in love,I use to sit on my fathers car bonnet and watch her,she waved to me i was about to go and speak to her ,but she started to rub the back of a boy next to her I was crushed, so I thought that this must be her boy friend, so I did not go to her, I have regretted this ever since, I am still in love with her after 60 odd years god bless and keep you safe my darling.
