Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

I grew up in Radnor Road where the small off-shoot of the Wey ran past our garden, we could see the back of the mill from the bottom of the garden. I remember one night after we had gone to bed when I was about 10'ish, in the late 1950s early 1960s, my parents waking my brother and me up and taking us to this footpath in the picture to watch the mill (linseed oil mill) burning. See my memory under "What did you do in the war, Granddad?' This pic shows the point on the Wey navigation featured in my 'Giving up smoking' story. The barn where the heavy horses were housed is still there, opposite the 'oil mills'. It is now a visitor centre.
