More about this scene
Wheatley was once noted for its brick industry. Many of the buildings that were constructed in the north of Oxford during the 19th century were built with Wheatley bricks. The Triangle Stores and George's Café, which we see here, was demolished in the mid 1970s. The Triangle Nursing Home has replaced it.
