More about this scene
The black and white marks on the kerbstones indicate the junction. This is a small handsome town on the River Test with Georgian buildings that are rendered or red brick. One of the best Georgian buildings is the White Hart Hotel with its rounded corner. To the north-west of the centre is the church of All Hallows, where parish rooms were added in 1974.
