Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

My First Home After Being Married

The first home I had with my wife and children in 1966 was one of those flats over the shops in the photo of Willesden high road until we got a tied Railway cottage, as I worked out of the Willesden Steam Locomotive Shed as a Fireman on British Rail.

Looking For Relatives Who Lived In Willesden
I live in Australia but my great grandparents lived at 19 Leopold Rd Willesden. Apparently they were a railway family - my grandfather was Charles Holliss - his dad was John Holliss - other kids in the family were Annie George William Eric. Seeking Willesden Family Members

I have fond memories of living in Willesden where I spent the first five years of my life until leaving London during the war years (1939 - 46). I remember in August 1939, dressed in grey shorts, school blazer and tie, being introduced to the headmistress of a kindergarten on Chamberlyne Road, but a week later we left London for Buckinghamshire and another set of schools. Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
