My parents ran the shop before I was born in 1953 and I'm intrigued to know of any stories related to it....

this may be a little late but i used to work in the shop (if it is the one next to mickies pub in willington quay) when i was 16 and i am not 63. My Aunty Joan also worked in the shop for years and years when i was little. i dont know if they had the shop in 1953 though
