Healing the sick is the theme of this window in the minster's north-west corner, formerly the Consistory Court. St Luke's Bible is open at the Acts of the Apostles chapter 4 verse 30, 'by stretching forth thy hand to heal'. The caption at the foot of the window reads: 'He giveth medicine to heal their sickness'. St Cuthberga, of course, is seen as the minster's founder.
