A Memory of Wingate.

My memory of Wingate is of my dad who passed away 10 years ago, he talked about the village when he was a lad. If anyone knows of him or has any history please e-mail me. My dad was William Johnstone, his dad John or Robert Johstone was killed down Wingate pit in 1936.

Hi, my great grandfather was John Robert Johnstone! He was killed in a pit accident but in 1938 my grandmother had a brother called William I believe would love to know if this is the same family!
