Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

A Memory of Witley.

Directly across the road from Woodersons grocery store was Mrs Stent's, the newsagents.. As an 11 year old I went there to pick up newspapers for delivery on my bike to the Enton route every day before going to School at the Grammar School in Godalming. My biggest problem was to keep the newspapers dry before delivery on wet mornings. In return my great customers offered hot cocoa drinks on cold days. What a lucky lad!!, Mike Phillips

This sparked a memory for me. I was up the road at King Edwards School 1958-65 and was designated as paper boy with 1 other for two years about 1962. We had to wake at 6.00am and walk down hill to the Witley Station often in pitch dark ( a deserted country lane) and sometimes thick fog to collect all the papers for the whole school. A bit scary when very dark and once a week done solo. We then returned up hill and distributed the papers to the various staff and common rooms.
