More about this scene
The town council still holds its meetings at the 17th-century Town Hall - note its open loggia. The building is owned and maintained by a charitable trust. The Angel Inn, on the left, advertising Clinches Witney Ales, dates back to the 17th century. Architecture in the town is predominantly Georgian.
