the shop on the corner opp.the wall,s sign had a mirror which if you stood close and waved your hand and leg in the air gave a mirror image- which HARRY WORTH used to open his show and had everyone in stitches My cousin NORMAN BURRUP was just as good and THEN off for an afternoon with Tubby Bewley learning to sharpen chisel and plane blades and then how to plane a piece of wood
straight . Someone cut through Mr. Golightly,s punishment canes which did not go down well .
