Worcester, The Foregate c.1960

More about this scene
The Foregate and Foregate Street continue the line of High Street northwards and developed as a suburb many centuries ago. Civil War destruction led to a substantial rebuilding programme, resulting in a predominantly Georgian character. A hint of that can be seen here, looking north from The Cross to the railway bridge.
