More about this scene

The brick school-like building is the former Reading Room of 1888, now appropriately a bookshop. Beyond is the Gothic pinnacled Wrentham Hall of 1862. The Jubilee Clock of 1897 (just visible on the central gable), given by Sir Alfred Gooch of Benacre Hall, has been removed. Wrentham Stores (right) has closed, but Broadways, beyond, remains.

Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

I was born in the house on the right and spent my childhood here.  It's nice to see a photo of the crossroads with the Town Hall with the spire.
